Indian woman and girl

We wanted to take a moment to revisit one of our subjects we blogged about earlier this year. Why are we doing this little rewind, you might be wondering? Because just as it was then, we’re still committed to providing patients of all ages with preventive care that’s aimed at not just helping your oral health, but also improving overall health and wellness. We’ve upped the game and taken things one giant step further than other Madison dentists.

Under the expert guidance of Dr. Ashley Lee, our Madison dental office has single-handedly improved how we provide care and treatment planning for grownups and kids alike. Everything we do isn’t by chance or without reason. Our actions are based on expert research and findings from The Institute for Craniofacial Medicine. At My Rivertown Dentist, we work hard to give patients and families access to more advanced care than you can find anywhere else in Madison. It’s aimed specifically at building a foundation of oral health for the kiddos we care for at a young age.

Pretty Cool Co-Treatment

My Rivertown Dentist partnered with Vivos Therapeutics, where Dr. Lee completed intensive training for children’s dentistry that will blow your mind. When you bring your little one to our dental office in Madison, you can relax and know that we’re going the extra mile to improve their oral and overall health. We’ve expanded our examination process to where we’re no longer focusing solely on your kiddo’s teeth; we’re also concentrating on their:

  • Airway development
  • Breathing issues
  • Tongue and lip ties
  • How they swallow

Why do we care so much about airway health in children? Recent research has shown that the importance of a healthy airway dramatically impacts a child’s overall health.

Let Us Help You Help Them

Dr. Lee points out that as an adult, you’re looking at some form of surgery to address breathing or airway issues. While there are options available, there’s nothing that’s as effective as what you can do when your child is still growing and developing. We’re getting to the root of the problem early so later on in life as an adult, they have no issues. Working together with Vivos, Dr. Lee takes the time to create a custom, comprehensive treatment plan that’s a direct result of her observations and what Vivos sees. We’re both here, acting as your trusted guide to helping your child have optimal oral health through their teen and adult years. With this revolutionary type of treatment, we can even eliminate the need for orthodontics in the future. Think about all the time, money, and effort you and your family will save!
